A visit to Wylie Park will no longer send people climbing up a wall.
The Aberdeen Park & Recreation Board has decided to sell the 24-foot-tall climbing wall, which has been at the Land of Oz since 2003.
The wall turned a small profit in 2009 but has lost money the last two years, says Doug Johnson, director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry.
The board voted Wednesday to declare the mobile climbing wall as surplus property.
The Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department paid $7,500 for the climbing wall.
