Frank Pooler: In the Jan. 26 LATExtra section, a photograph with the obituary of longtime Cal State Long Beach choral director Frank Pooler should have been credited to the university, not the Los Angeles Times.

City Council: In the Jan. 28 Section A, a chart that accompanied an article about upcoming changes in the makeup of the Los Angeles City Council included Wendy Greuel in a list of members who joined the council in 2001. Councilman Tom LaBonge, whose name was omitted from the list, joined that year in a special election; Greuel did not arrive until 2002.

L.A. Art Show: In the Jan. 26 Calendar section, an article about the L.A. Art Show gave the name of another show running concurrently last weekend at the Barket Hangar in Santa Monica as Art Contemporary Los Angeles. The correct name is Art Los Angeles Contemporary.

Sentencing commission: In the Jan. 27 Section A, an article about Internet activists hacking into the U.S. Sentencing Commission’s website described it as a Department of Justice site. The commission is not part of the Department of Justice; it is an independent agency in the judicial branch of government.
