Grow up. We, the US are the only industrialized country where this story would make the front page. Its pathetic victmeless crime. Consenting adults. So he was Mr. Pure As The Driven Snow, so were the countless evangelicals, priests, Presidents, etc. that turn out to be fallible, as we all are. Get over it. Its just sex

Yes, we are mammals, but we are mammals with a higher calling from God to exert self-control and keep oneself pure until marriage. Fornication, adultery and homosexuality are all condemned by God and are also considered "a sin against one's own body." God will forgive these acts, but only if the offender repents and changes their ways (i.e. stops the filthiness of their actions)

It is interesting that all of the "moral" brigade especially among lawyers are such hypocrites and hollow people. Rodney Delgadillo's messianic pursuit of Paris HIlton concealed the fact that he was someone who covred up much the same actions by his own wife. And now, Eliot Spitzer, who tried to show himelf as a "Mr Clean" of sorts has been shown to be little more than a Mr Whitewash. Perhaps, we need to be more suspicious of people like Delgadillo and Spitzer and their crusades. Whenever they come out to impose a moral code of sorts on society, it does seem to hide their own immorality in some way.

Excuse me, but our choice isn't a "man or a worm, which if you look at the anatomy are actually the same." We can in fact elect women.

At least Spitzer did the Democratic thing and had sex with a consenting adult of the opposite gender. We'll leave real perversion to the Republicans, as usual.

People, you are all being so dramatic If its a piece about a woman and you don't agree with it you immediately call it "misogeny" come on? if you don't agree with a woman's point of view or you don't "like" that person its not called misogeny if you dont' like a minorities point of view, it isn't called "racisim" If you don't like a religious point of view, its not called "anti-semitism" What do we have to agee with everyone else so that they can't use these words? NO, but these groups do a disservice to themselves by using the scapegoating words just to get some backing behind them, what is this? you people have to GROW UP
