  • Replace the word, "Vietnam," with the word "Iraq" and you'll instantly realize how silly this war is.

  • Memorial Day is a day that I feel is celebrated for people who have fought in wars and got some type of freedom for us.In which I am in the 5th grade at Luling Elementary school. Some of these things wouldn't be possible without these people. So for that I would like to thank them!

  • One insert Iraq or Afghanistan and with minor changes rerun the 1968 article as though it were written today. My youngest daughter learns from her older sister's mistakes. She sees, listens and takes heed to her sister's history. Our leaders have had older sisters. Yet our leaders do not see, they do not listen and certainly they do not heed America's history. Why don't we? WB
