Our fishing trip along the eastern face of the Sierras included a stop at Iggy & Squiggy’s Junction Bar, 18 miles south of Gardnerville at Holbrook Junction. This secluded roadhouse serves locals in the bar and delights diners on the back deck, where the owners barbecue tacos until they’re crispy yet soft. Each ample platter of tacos includes a beer or soft drink for $11.75.
