Van Buren County Sheriff officers obtained a search warrant to investigate drug sales at a residence located at 209 Bears Street, when they arrived, they found four individuals.
Outside the house police arrested a 41-year-old man who was on probation and possessing marijuana.
inside the home they located 22-year-old Colley Hankins, he was taken into custody on an outstanding felony warrant for delivery and manufacturing of marijuana.
Hankins now has pending charges of possession with intent to deliver marijuana.
Officers found 59 grams of marijuana under a floor vent. Additional items located were a large quantity of prescription pills, packaging materials, a scale and $2,000 US currency which was seized under civil forfeiture laws.
Two women were also at the residence, a 38-year-old, and a 18-year-old. Both have charges pending.
Hankins and the 41-year-old man were transported to the Van Buren County Jail.
The case has been sent to the prosecutors office for review, requesting charges for the two females.
In a seperate incident Thursday, two men were arrested after sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant on their residence, and found a variety of drugs and paraphernalia.
Van Buren County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit executed a warrant at 92333 Old Swamp Road, also in Decatur Township, after conducting an investigation into morphine sales. While inside, police discovered two fugitives, Stanley Gary Bridges and Gary Daniel Bridges Jr., both wanted on felony warrants.
Stanley Gary Bridges Jr. is behind held on $25,000 bond for a felony warrant for delivery of narcotics less than 50 grams.
Gary Daniel Bridges Jr. was arrested on a felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance and delivery of meth and marijuana. His bond is set at $50,000.
He also had a misdemeanor warrant for a traffic offense.
Stanley Gary Bridges and Gary Daniel Bridges, Jr. were transported to the Van Buren County Jail where they were lodged without incident. Both were lodged on the outstanding warrants.
The Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit will be seeking additional criminal charges from the Van Buren County Prosecutor’s Office.
