PAW PAW—The Paw Paw Police Department on Sunday afternoon released a surveillance photo and the description of a suspect in the robbery of a Paw Paw bank on Saturday.
According to Paw Paw Police Chief Patrick W. Alspaugh, the man robbed the Bank of America at 118 N. Kalamazoo St. at 11:30 a.m. Saturday. He entered the bank and demanded money from a bank employee. The suspect did not display a weapon and no one was injured. The employee turned over an amount of money to the suspect and the man left the bank without incident.
Paw Paw police are describing the suspect as a white male, aged 25 to 35, weighing from 200 to 225 pounds and standing about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet in height. The man was wearing a black leather jacket and black gloves at the time of the robbery.
Police said it appears the suspect left the bank on foot and may have gone to a vehicle in the area. However, there is no vehicle description at this time.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Paw Paw Police Department with the investigation.

The Paw Paw robbery occurred less than a half-hour after a man robbed the Independent Bank at 2151 W. Columbia Ave. in Battle Creek.
