Pictures and videos of a new "montauk monster" are spreading virally across the web.
The strange creature was found on New York's coast, and some people believe it's baring resemblance to the monster that sparked internet frenzy in 2008. In fact, several bloggers are already calling this new find the "son of Montauk."
Nicky Papers from montauk-monster.com says he shot this video
at night, after a New York couple called him they found another monster. He says the hairless creature smelled horrific. He also writes the couple who tipped him off took the carcass home, to prevent it from being stolen. They currently keep it in a cooler of ice, according to Papers.
After his blog post, online searches on the new Montauk monster went up. People are discussing whether there's a link between the creature and the nearby Plum Island animal disease center.
So what do you think: is it a dog, a pig, or simply a prank?
