To say the '80s are making a comeback in entertainment would be an understatement: The decade has been en vogue for years. The fanboy faction is staking its claim, too, by bringing back, or planning to bring back, favorites to the big and small screens. "Bionic Woman," "Knight Rider" and "Battlestar Galactica" have had their shot, with results ranging from euphoric ("BSG") to not-even-a-season-completed (the other two). In film, "Transformers" blew in, setting records at the box office, while "G.I. Joe" launched his assault and "Tron Evolution" continued a beloved story, both with middle-of-the-road success. Despite the mixed bag, no one is shying away from the decade.

Punky Brewster 80's child television star Soleil Moon Frye admitted recently that, as an eight year old, she had a very personal encounter with King of Pop Michael Jackson.
In her brand new parenting book entitled "Happy Chaos," Moon Frye relives her experience sharing the day she visited Michael Jackson's home that included some one on one alone time in his hot tub.
"So there I was sitting with Michael Jackson, alone in his Jacuzzi, talking about life, love, and the secrets of the world. I was eight years old. Yes, I know you're probably horrified, or at least a little confused as you read this, wondering how in the world I got there," Frye writes.
"Michael took my mother and me on a tour of his home," she continues. "We saw his elaborate costumes encased in glass, his bedroom, all of his knickknacks, and his stunning recording studio ... We watched 'Willy Wonka,' and Michael and I sat next to each other. He had a way of speaking as if he were a child, too."
On Tuesday's (August 23, 2011) "Today" show, Soleil Moon Frye said, "It was such a fun, crazy experience. I didn't realize how strange it was then."
