SAN DIEGO - Those hoping to be the next 'American Idol' now know where they'll be taking the stage for the first time.
FOX announced Friday that Petco Park will be the venue for the San Diego leg of Idol's 11th year of auditions. Those auditions already had a date, Friday July 8th, but now have a home.
It's the first time 'American Idol' has rolled in to San Diego since 2007, when auditions were held at Qualcomm Stadium.
Not everyone will be able to get a shot at that ticket to Hollywood, though. Contestants must be between 15 and 28 years old and eligible to work in the United States in order to audition.
Here's the full schedule for this year's Idol auditions:
St. Louis, MO - Tuesday, June 28th
Portland, OR - Saturday, July 2nd
San Diego, CA - Friday, July 8th
Pittsburgh, PA - Friday, July 15th
Charleston, SC - Friday, July 22nd
Denver, CO - Friday, July 29th
Houston, TX - Friday, August 26th
