Two Anchorage men are accused of breaking into a school south of Fairbanks and causing $12,000 in damage.

Alaska State Troopers say 22-year-old Michael Clark and 19-year-old Tyler Shold damaged expensive handicap-accessible doors while trying to get into the Tri-Valley School in Healy.

The two men were taken to the Fairbanks Correction Center on charges of theft, burglary, criminal mischief and evidence tampering.

Denali Borough School Superintendent Jim Elliott tells the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner (http://bit.ly/MptZ15 ) that the men are not associated with the school.
