C-SPANis spending this week in Wichita, giving the city a little national exposure.
The cable network will feature the city's history and literary life on its book-tv and American history-tv channels.
Wichita will be followed by Jefferson City, Missouri.
“It really is a chance for us to get out of Washington DC, get out of our traditional programming and enhanceC-SPAN2's book programming and enhance C-SPAN3's American history programming," said Debbie Lamb, the coordinating producer for C-SPAN.
