Vandals paint swastikas at U.S. Senator's office
(December 19, 2011)
The FBI will lead an investigation to find out who painted swastikas at the office of U.S. Senator from Kansas Pat Roberts.
The vandalism happened sometime over the weekend. Staffers at the office at 155 N. Market in downtown Wichita found the hate symbols Monday morning and quickly had them cleaned up.
A spokeswoman in Roberts' Washington D.C. office said it wasn't the first time the Wichita office had been vandalized. A building maintenence worker said back in September someone sprayed black paint and swastikas all around the exterior.
The FBI will investigate because the office is considered a federal location.
