Kawasaki Police Special

Kawasaki Police Special Erik Estrada rode the Kawasaki Police Special to fame on the hit TV show "CHiPS." Based on the inline-four-cylinder, 998 cc Z1 and produced until 2005 -- when increasingly strict emissions requirements forced it off the market -- the Police Special was purpose-built for law enforcement, with a tight turning radius, low center of gravity and a variety of law-enforcement accessories. The L.A. County SheriffÂ’s Department and other agencies still use the Kawasaki Police Special, but they are being phased out.
