Sun Valley man arrested as molestation suspect
Los Angeles police say at least two children were victims.
Los Angeles police have arrested a Sun Valley man on suspicion of molesting at least two children, one of them a 6-year-old, and are searching for other possible victims.
Pedro Ortiz, 28, was arrested at home without incident Monday on suspicion of committing lewd acts on a child under 14, said Los Angeles police spokesman Richard French.
At a 2 p.m. news conference at the North Hollywood Station, investigators plan to release more details of the case and appeal for victims to come forward, French said.
