Boos Bros. Cafeteria (where Yankee fried chicken was a popular dish) seen in an ad from the 1920s. In 1906, the Boos brothers began promoting their first cafeteria. Culinary historians led by former LA Times writer Charles Perry will meet at the Central Library in downtown to discuss "Dining in Los Angeles: 1903."
