"It felt like the end of the world," said Michael Dennis, who was inside a Torrance Starbucks when the magnitude-4.7 earthquake rumbled through the South Bay on Sunday evening. "First it started to rumble, then the glass started coming down and everyone started running to the exits and not very many of them made it out."
