WITHOUT A COUNTRY

Trying to get back to the only life he knew

Luis Luna, 20, was smuggled to the U.S. from Mexico when he was 3. He grew up, went to school, found jobs. Then the Washington state resident was deported after a cop pulled him over for a broken headlight. He hopes to return on the undercarriage of a boxcar.

I can only pray that Luna will someday be able to return to the US either legally or illegally and meet his wife.

He lived in a state where they still issued driver licenses to illegal immigrants, why didn't he get one before he started driving? The story does not cover what his family is doing for him, if his mom is from Mexico, where are his relatives overthere? Mexico is not that bad, specially in Sonora. If he was working in a fast food restaurant here, he can for sure be better off in Mexico. It seems that he is not even trying to make a living out there. He just wants to come back here, for what? to continue living in a studio apt. earning minimum wage? and now he has to support his new wive.   It is hard to be in a new Country at 20, but hey how many immigrants get here not knowing the language at 20 and older? and they do just fine. He's in his own country and speaks the language. If he tries, he will be just fine! He might became one of the 1,000's of mexicans that have business moving in Arizona by crossing just to do their weekly shopping!!

Isn't it ironic, that I'm trying to get back to the only life I knew. A life in which people actually had respect for tha laws . flag , language ,and culture of this country. A life in which the Federal Govt. actually enforced our immigration laws. A life in which NOBODY ever had to put up with Luis luna times 25 million. 25 million completely dependent invaders . Luis, just get on the Midnight Train to Tijuana,  WOO WOO!
