A new monument is erected at the Lancaster Cemetery by employees of the cemetery and a monument company. Members of Los Angeles County’s Japanese American community, the West Antelope Valley Historical Society, a local Rotary club, and area school children helped raise funds to have the monument’s white granite obelisk replaced.
