Occupy L.A., before and after

Early Wednesday morning, LAPD officers took action to remove Occupy L.A. protesters from the lawn around City Hall. These panoramic photos, taken from the same spot nearly a month apart, contrast the scene of a fully occupied encampment and the debris left behind after the police swept through, arresting almost 300 people. The panoramas were created by combining consecutive photos.

Hmmm.....wonder why the green movement is silent on the obvious destruction of the greenery there? If it's the same at other Occupy movements, the sod destruction alone is in the tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars.

How much you wanna bet that the Occupy movement is not going to give a dime to the people of LA to pay for the reconstruction of the green areas? These guys are just a bunch of selfish, self-centered, whiney hippy wannabes.

Get used to it. The establidhment controls the elected officials. The elected officials control the police. The Occupy movement is not a part of the DemocratRepublican establishment and sooner or later will be run off, because this is not truly a democracy. Like the hippie movement of the '60s, they are protesters without a cause - or maybe 100 causes which comes down to the same thing. The hippies had no effect on our Vietnam madness. What they did accomplish was to make jeans the acceptable clothing that made Levi Strauss so rich. And they introduced the mass use of various kinds of dope. They are now mostly Republicans. The OWS are the new hippy generation. It's too bad, because we need something truly revolutionary to keep this mess from being the end of society as we have known it.

You're the 9% FYI (the unemployed) the rest of us have to work! Protesting your middle class neighbors, damaging business and parks, disrupting traffic, disrespecting our finest/our cops and spending the last of our deficit dollars to police ya won't sell us on the idea of joinin ya! Makes the Tea Party look like Americas finest! A Wallstreet protest should be conducted in the rotten apple and target the 65,000 page tax code if you want radical change overnight! Come up with a Flat/fair tax model that increases taxes on the rich and gets the half of us paying zero Fed taxes to pay a little somethin-they need some skin in the game too! If your just after a free lunch, pepper is a vegetable and probably all you'll get! Anarchy will turn the 91% on ya-bank on it!
