Authorities identify man shot to death in Glen Avon
Riverside County sheriff’s investigators today identified a man fatally shot during a party in Glen Avon on Sunday.
Investigators from the Jurupa Valley sheriff’s station found Alfredo Duran Miranda, 22, of Riverside, in the 9600 block of Mission Boulevard about 1 a.m. Sunday with gunshot wounds, Sheriff’s Investigator Jerry Franchville said.
Miranda was shot during a fight that erupted outside of a party, and partygoers surrounded him when he was found, Franchville said.
Miranda was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators have not recovered a weapon, released suspect descriptions or made any arrests, Franchville said.
