One of the two people killed Tuesday morning in a plane crash at McClellan-Palomar Airport was identified Wednesday by the San Diego County medical examiner’s office as George Swink, 57, of Escondido. The second victim has not yet been identified, officials said.

Swink was president of Southwest Consulting Group, an engineering firm in Rancho Bernardo, Calif. The plane, a Beechcraft King Air BE-90L, was registered to Swink’s firm. It crashed and burned on takeoff after hitting power lines.
