1.
Why after all these years people who takes care of these issue of illegal immigration haven't solved this problem? Maybe it is very interesting for the region/country (economy, work force or politics). I have always heard about problems with illegal immigrants in the U.S here in Brazil through the press. Do you really think that the American government wants the illegals out of the U.S? The illegals immigrants are wherever they are doing whatever they want because they were smarter than those who are responsable to stop or control it.
2. I dont quiet understand how people can be so ignorant. Do people actually know north americas history, last time I read in history books was that there were many people crossing the great atlantic ocean a hundred years back? Its funny to forget about that isn't it? Worst of all being closed minded is going to keep us in the hole that we are in. Wake up people we are in the 21st century.
3. Oh wow, now some are knit picking the Spanish language spoken in a city council meeting rooted in a region rich with Mexican history. All I can say to that is the fear, that the manifest destiny is doing a reverse, must send shivers down the spine of it's followers.
4. there is a story in the times today that the LA city council will be conducting bussiness speaking spanish. i could have sworn i woke up this morning in the united states. citizens of this country and this state, we need take action. this is a shame
5. I already canceled my subscription to the Times they support liberal causes and promote lawlessness. Now I read the daily news.
6. Why don't they protest in Mexico for reform and change? Where is the President of Mexico Mr. Calderon and why doesn't he offer to help out his own Mexican citizens? I guess our leaders are too afraid to make other countries responsible for their own liabilities or ask for their support with funding from Mexico's elite Billionaire club. It seems to me that none of our Political Leaders that are suppose to represent us Americans want to stand up for us or do the right thing for the American People. This is an epidemic that is slowly destroying our way of life here in Los Angeles!
7. Breaking the law can be tough. How many illegal aliens does the Times employ?. I have met some. We know which side the Times takes.
8. If "Life in the Shadows" is so difficult, why stay? I know American citizens who are also reduced to collecting recyclables. The difference is, they have a social security number and they have to pay taxes! Lots of taxes! Sorry, I am running out of sympathy!
9. We READ and SPEAK ENGLISH in the USA ! I'm cancelling my LA Times subscription untill you people realize we must enforce our existing immigration laws. You, the LA TIMES, are adding to the lawlessness in this country by aiding and abetting illegal aliens.
10. If these people would stay HOME and stop violating our border, they wouldn't be seperated from family in death. They made the choice to commit a criminal act, by deserting their family and viloating American law.
