Los Angeles police are searching for suspects this morning in the fatal shooting of two men in the Exposition Park area.
The men, who were in their 20s, had just been dropped off by a friend in the 4200 block of South Figueroa Street near West 43rd Street at 1:50 a.m. when they were shot, said Officer Kate Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Both died at the scene, and police have not released their names, Lopez said.
Police have not released a suspect description, she said, and no arrests had been made.
Lopez said investigators were trying to determine this morning whether the shootings were gang- or drug-related.
Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at (213) 485-6571.
