Measuring the governor's words

Drag the slider below to see the most common words in Gov. Schwarzenegger's five State of the State speeches.

What's this?

It's called a tag cloud, and its purpose is to show the most commonly used words in State of the State addresses delivered by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

You can scroll through tag clouds of each of the governor's annual speeches using the slider tool. The relative sizes of the words correspond to the frequency with which they appear in each speech. Some commonly used words like "the," "our" and "California" have been omitted.
