Shooting Leaves 2 Dead, 2 Wounded
A suspected gang member opened fire on a group of men outside a Pico Rivera convenience store early Sunday, killing two and injuring two others, police said.
The shooting took place about 2 a.m. after a confrontation between six suspected gang members and the four victims, who were leaving a store on Washington Boulevard. After a fight, one of the alleged gang members began shooting at the victims with a handgun.
The shooter and the other suspects fled and remain at large.
Police are withholding the identifies of the slain men until their relatives are notified. The two other victims, each with lower torso wounds, were in stable condition, police said.
