UCB Theatre: ‘Worst Laid Plans’
SO BAD IT’S FUNNY
“Bad sex plus time equals comedy,” Beth Littleford says. The former “Daily Show” correspondent will be testing out that formula onstage this evening at “Worst Laid Plans” – a monthly show wherein performers air their most horrifying sexual experiences. Inspired by a late-night dishing session between creators Laura Kindred and Alexandra Lydon, “Worst Laid Plans” is pretty cathartic, according to Littleford. “If therapy can’t fix something, perform it,” she says. “That always takes the sting out for me, just puts it to bed. So to speak.” 8 tonight, Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. $5. losangeles.ucbtheatre.com
