Audio slide show: “Valley of death”
In Haiti, the dead have been overwhelming. At least 150,000 died in the earthquake. Thousands of bodies have ended up at Titanyen, a cemetery 20 miles north of Port-au-Prince, where Haiti’s notorious dictators once dumped their political opponents. Their passing has been honored by pastors and Haitians who believe, above all else, that everyone deserves to be buried with dignity.
