Brush fire burns near 210 Freeway in Tujunga

A brush fire in Tujunga has burned up to 15 acres, said d'Lisa Davies of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The fire was first reported about 5:30 p.m. today in the 8300 block of West La Tuna Canyon Road, just off the 210 Freeway. It was burning uphill in moderate to heavy brush.

No injuries or property damage had been reported as of 9:30 p.m., but several firefighters were exposed to poison oak.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
