The Cockpit Of The New Jets-Styled Airplane From JetBlue
(October 15, 2010)
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (WPIX)—
The New York Jets and JetBlue
together have created the latest homage to Gang Green -- an A320 Airbus painted green and white and adorned with the team's logo.
The plane was unveiled Friday at JetBlue's Hangar 81 at JFK International Airport by Jets CEO Woody Johnson
, JetBlue CEO Dave Barger and former and current Jets players including Curtis Martin
Guests at the event had the opportunity to win two tickets on the Jets friends-and-family charter flight to Denver to watch the showdown with the Broncos on October 16.
The plane's look was created by T.J. McCormick, JetBlue's head of brand design, and includes a green belly, green wing tips and tail, with a large green Jets logo along the fuselage and the image of a Jets helmet towards the rear of the craft.
