The corruption trial of former Gov. Rod Blagojevich consumed the summer of 2010 and concluded on August 17. After 14 days of deliberations, the six-man, six-woman jury convicted Blagojevich on just one of the 24 felony counts he faced -- a charge that he had lied to FBI agents about his intense involvement in campaign fundraising.

Attorney Sam Adam Jr. leaves the Dirksen U.S. Courthouse for lunch after U.S. District Judge James Zagel sent the jury back for further deliberations. Zagel announced today that the federal jury in former Gov. Rod Blagojevich's trial has reached a verdict on only two counts in the case and is deadlocked on others.
