Boy held in Alabama bunker is freed
A weeklong standoff between police and a gunman ended Monday when authorities freed a 5-year-old boy who had been held captive in an underground bunker in Midland City, Ala. The gunman was reported to be dead. The incident began when a man killed a school-bus driver and snatched the child from the vehicle.
