Dinner in Celebration of the visit of Pope Benedict XVI: Guests and menu

Tonight, the President and Mrs. Bush will host a dinner in the East Room in celebration of the visit of his Holiness Pope Benedict XVI.

Attendees will include:

• Chief Justice Roberts
• Justices Scalia, Kennedy, Alito, and Thomas
• Carl Anderson, Supreme Knight and Chief Executive Officer, Knights of Columbus
• Ken Hackett, President, Catholic Relief Services
• Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi
• Minority Leader John Boehner
• George Weigel, author of the biography of Pope John Paul II
• Tom Lasorda, former baseball player and manager
• More than 20 members of the clergy from around the country, including Papal Nunciature and the Archdiocese of Washington


The Menu will be:
