By Johanna Neuman, Los Angeles Times Staff Writer Samatha Power resigned today from Sen. Barack Obamas campaign for saying that his rival for the Democratic presidential nomination, Sen. Hillary Clinton, was a monster. Power is hardly the first campaign staffer who's had to resign for untimely words or actions. In fact, she joins a long line of advisors and campaign staffers who, it could be said, have fallen on their swords for their candidates. |
