  • Now, we know who is scheduled for the next "Who's your Daddy?" show on Maury. It is a shame that he was a contender for the Democratic Party Nomination and so many of us believed that he was honest. He got a lot of nerve for embarrasing his family and the countrry like that....It's time for him to take a bow. Show's over!!!! We can do better.

  • Wow. I had real sympathy for Elizabeth Edwards before, but her statement seems to blame everyone but her husband. She accuses other people of lying while her husband is the biggest liar of them all. The "tabloid media" put-down doesn't work when it turns out they were right on the money. And this is not just a personal matter. PAC money was used to pay his mistress for work that no one else would even consider hiring her to do. I guess both the husband and the wife are arrogant - something we all felt, but couldn't put our finger on. Good thing they were outed.

  • What is wrong with our country? We have all of these politicians running for office, what do they think that no one is going to find out about these things. Cheating is wrong no matter who you are and as a politician you should know that people are really going to be trying to dig up dirt on you and then continue to lie about it, how sad for your family John Edwards, I hope it was all worth it and that you can live with yourself,it sure doesnt seem to be a problem for some people. Remember what goes around comes around

  • Hold on a second. Elizabeth Edwards is complaining about a tabloid publication that is printing lies and "falsely" stating that John fathered a child outside of their marriage. Well if it's false, then sue the Enquirer. Then the paternity test can be done. Then we can finally know who the liar is. Or the Enquirer can sue for slander/libel and force a paternity test because Elizabeth is calling them liars. Hmmmmm.....

  • Does anyone truly believe Elizabeth "forgave" John? No way, her circumstances actually dictated the "forgiveness" Here is a woman with a fatal illness and no way out. She must give her children the "DAD" they will need when she is gone. Elizabeth, may our Lord Bless you and give you the strenght and peace you deserve. John, shame on you, did the vows "In sickness & Health" mean nothing to you? Once a cheater always a cheater.

  • Yes, "Creepy" is the word I've always felt, too. What was it? Not easy to pinpoint .. but there. Now we know, he is justa bible-beating CREEP! I hope in the time Elizabeth has remaining, that she kicks this old poop OUT of the house, and let's him live in the garage. (But, he must pay her rent!) Yuk! I'm glad he's out of OUR hair now! Yuk, yuk, yuk!!!!!!!!

  • Amazing! A former presidential candidate has his money man paying off others for is lies and infidelity to his wife. Using campaign money! All the LA Times has in the paper is an Opinion from some crackpot that says the reason the media missed the story is the same reason they didn't report a so called story of George W, drinking and having an affair with Condoleezza Rice! You have got to be kidding. Goodby LA TIMES..

  • Anyone who cheats on a spouse cannot be trusted! I have watched several Edward's interviews this past year and there was always something creepy about him. Any man who talks about God and religion in every other sentence is guilty of something or trying to hide something.

  • This just goes to show that if you want to hear about REAL news you research it online. Dont expect the mainstream media to inform you of something that may upset its big corporate sponsors.
