There’s no relief in this men’s room
The decor in Barack Obama’s campaign headquarters in Chicago is largely what you would expect: posters of the candidate, news clippings and pictures of his wife, Michelle.
Then there’s the men’s room, where the decorations are a bit more … utilitarian.
Adorning the restroom walls are large road maps of states with upcoming caucuses and primaries. In prime position, above the urinals, is a map of the next state to hold a Democratic primary – West Virginia.
Standing at the urinals, an Obama campaign aide told a reporter Wednesday that the maps rotate based on which state is next on the calendar.
Jen Psaki, a spokeswoman for the Obama campaign, said: “We’re always focused. We keep our focus on the endgame.”
