Ive found one interesting issue in the article: comparison politicians with criminals. During my life I acquired solid conviction that there are no great difference between criminals and politicians. No matter country: Russia, USA, Great Britain, Ukraine, Georgia . May be the main difference is the only one: criminals are responsible for their words and actions, while politicians arent. (And may be criminals have more tattoos on their skin).

Yes who you are such as to ask such a question? Sid two Jew and discussing the Russia ... You that, believe the Anglo-Saxon civilization only? If you do not know, there are over your civilization and having more rights to exist, for historical and moral reasons. From Russia with "Fuck off". Sorry for poor Chinese

you said: How did Vladimir Putin, a ne'er-do-well KGB officer whose chief foreign posting was Dresden (where by all accounts he did little but service Stasi agents and gain 20 pounds on East German beer), become Russia's greatest leader since Stalin? i said: How did George Bush, an offspring of American establishment family who was graduated in famous US university whose father was a president of USA (we are not saying here about 20 years of his alcohol addiction) became a worst president of the USA since ever? That's what I ask. Too sad.

Who is civilized? The US and West? You make me laugh..Hahahaha USA has its hands red with blood of millions of innocent people in order to safegaurd its "interests". And you have the nerve to call Russia "un-civilized"?

I guess in the "civilized world" killing tens of thousands of innocent Iraqis means nothing. Can you say "hypocrisy?" Oh, and what was the bombing of Serbia by NATO? Civilized behavior? At least the Russians took on Georgia's military -- what there was of it, while the United States bypassed it to bomb power, plants, bridges and busses in Serbia proper. That was the "civilized" thing to do. Give me a break.

"Putin's thuggery", "civilized world" - My oh my...Putin first should have waited for his country to become "civilized" to the extent the US is to invade other countries. Only "civilized" invasions are permitted I guess... O, one more...Putin should have become a born-again Christian to invade so as not to be called a thug, I guess...
Whatevs @ 1:46 PM PDT, Aug 28, 2008
Can you call yourself civilized? What makes USA and the west so civillized? You could flaunt the violation of international law and invade a soverign country ( iraq ). support a nation that has the lowest morals in the world( Israel) and encourage seccesionist movement in other parts of the world ( kosovo). First mend your morals. Then aspire to be the moral champions of the world .

Why not allow China or India to join the G8? Either one of these countries has the financial weight to be a member of this organization. Russia is in this organization, because everyone fears its vast military arsenal. A dying population and commodity style economy is not good enough for membership. You want to contain Russia get India or China (even better, both) involved and Russia would change its tune.

Russia will not be permitted to enter the WTO until they remove their inept military out of Georgia. NATO base infrastructure is already being constructed in Eastern Ukraine, so the mockali really don't pose any kind of military threat to any other countries in the region. As Russia continues to implode, it shall be become small enough to the point that it won't even represent a topic for discussion. The mockali have been humiliated way too many times...and this will only continue until the federation is no more.
