Aberdeen: Mass of Christian burial for Elizabeth Liedle, 98, of Aberdeen will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Aberdeen. Fr. Shane Stevens will officiate.
Burial will be Sunset Memorial Gardens. Schriver's Memorial Mortuary and Crematory of Aberdeen is in charge of arrangements.
A liturgical wake service will be 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2011, at the mortuary.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.

Elizabeth passed away Monday, July 11, 2011, at Avera Mother Joseph Manor.
Elizabeth Buechler was born Feb. 5, 1913, to Michael and Elizabeth (Geffre) Buechler in Hauge, N.D. At a young age, she moved with her family to Leola, where she was raised and attended Leola Schools.
Elizabeth married Reuben Liedle on Nov. 14, 1939, in Leola. They farmed in the Leola area for many years. They moved to Aberdeen in 1950, and have resided here since that time.
Elizabeth volunteered much of her time for several different organizations and civic groups, especially for the Roncalli Nearly New Shop. She also and enjoyed baking and cooking for her family and friends.
Surviving Elizabeth are one daughter, Darlene (Russ) Daugherty of Aberdeen; one son, Harvey (Marcia) Liedle of Mooresville, N.C.; two sisters, Theresa Sahli of Aberdeen and Josephine Huber of Milwaukee, Wis.; one brother, Walter (Marlene) Buechler of Aberdeen; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters; and two brothers.
