Well, there it is. Now, who's out of touch? Gloria, you're old news and your old, out of date, party talking points are obsolete, now. This woman is just what this country needs, in either party. A breath of fresh air, and a non-lawyer, to boot. It's about time someone, from REAL AMERICA, has stepped up to take the reins. This is gonna be great, and historical!

Thank you Ms. Steinem for putting in writing what we've long known. You don't support women. You support the liberal policies that have brought us 50 Million abortions, radical environmentalism, and essentially the policies of Ted Kennedy and the Democratic Good Old Boys Club. Pretending that you would have approved of Kay Bailey Hutchison is laughable, so I do applaud your sense of humor.

Meanwhile, we still haven't gotten a single idea during the entire Republican convention about the economy and how to lift a middle class so harmed by the Bush-McCain policies. It's now clear that John McCain's campaign has decided that desperate lies and personal attacks -- on Barack Obama and on you -- are the only way they can earn a third term for the Bush policies that McCain has supported more than 90 percent of the time.

Sarah Palin represent the modern feminist that wants it all. Can be a mother of 5 and a governor at the same time. Gloria Steinham represents the old guard which most women who came after rejected since it diminished the role women also play at home. If she knew any younger couples she would know that men these days help with the kids. I change diapers, wake up in the middle of the night when they are sick, help prepare meals, etc... with mine. Attacking her for opening up a power plant to help keep people's homes warm during the Alaskan winter? Insane.

Let's clarify something for them right now. Community organizing is how ordinary people respond to out-of-touch politicians and their failed policies. And it's no surprise that, after eight years of George Bush, millions of people have found that by coming together in their local communities they can change the course of history. That promise is what our campaign has been about from the beginning.

Both Rudy Giuliani and Sarah Palin specifically mocked Barack's experience as a community organizer on the South Side of Chicago more than two decades ago, where he worked with people who had lost jobs and been left behind when the local steel plants closed.

I saw John McCain's attack squad of negative, cynical politicians. They lied about Barack Obama and Joe Biden. But worst of all -- and this deserves to be noted -- they insulted the very idea that ordinary people have a role to play in our political process. Despite what John McCain and his attack squad say, everyday people have the power to build something extraordinary when we come together.

This commentary by Gloria Steinem is proof of the huge difference in issues in this country. Her opinion, which I respect but disagree with, is that abortion is the 'government controlling a woman's womb'. I happen to believe that abortion is killing unborn babies. This is just one of the issues in Gloria Steinem's that I personally have a problem with. However, if you dislike Palin's politics you are going to find fault with her. If you like her politics, you are going to like her.

Feminism is dead. You heard it here first. Obviously Gloria Steinem speaks for ALL women...or so she thinks, anyway. I guess we're all too stupid to decide for ourselves. I never thought I would see the day that a respected feminist would put partisan politics ahead of women and speak of us in such a condescending manner. Guess what Gloria? Just because I'm pro choice doesn't mean I cannot appreciate someone who respects life. I am capable of both. I'll be voting for McCain/Palin because they live by the courage of their convictions. That's a concept you've apparently not grasped.

I think this is one of the greatest endorsements for Palin that I have heard yet: "Palin shares nothing but a chromosome with Clinton"
