  • Obuma is nothing more than a good looking silver tongue devil who knows nothing about nothing. He may be qualified enough for Capital dog catcher but that's about it. Him and his party is nothing more than Socialists. Rob the rich and give to the poor to keep on getting votes. Free cheese for everyone. No thanks. I'll hold my nose and vote for Juan McCain.

  • There are a good MAJORITY of Americans who are pro-choice and are aware that the pro-lifers will do everything they can to chip away at women's rights on this issue. Voting decisions that are tricky, such as this one, always have to be made with the concern of potential liability to your position in mind. If you think Obama is somehow a champion of infanticide you're a moron. The right loves digging this issue up every damn election. The hard truth is, most Americans agree with a woman's right to choose. Deal with it. Next topic.

  • Your observation of Obama at Saddleback is interesting but very little is made of McCain and his response - apt, agile and quick response before questions were asked. I'd like to be put in 'inaudible enclosure' if it'd waken my senses. Interesting article but unbalanced. I'd have liked to see your views on McCain's answers and his 30minutes absence.

  • "Unfortunately, Obama wasn't telling the truth." Unfortunately, Goldberg isn't telling the truth either, if truth consists of presenting an undistorted picture of reality. The number of abortions in the United States has been declining since the mid 1980's and the slight decline (about 8%) from 2000 to 2005 appears to be the continuation of a weak pre-existing trend. Still, Obama probably should have said "abortions haven't gone down much." Did he lie about the number of abortions? Not really. Has he lied about other things? Of course he has. He's a politician! What's your excuse Mr. Goldeberg?

  • It is really sad to hear people talking and preaching about abortion. The saddest aprt that it is entirely true that many of those who want that moron Republican Candidtae who opposes Roe Vs. Wade themselves had abortions so did a lot of their friends. Alot of them also have sex outside of marriage. I am talking satistics by the way. Hypocricy is part and parcel of those religious practices and fanaticism. That is what got us into the misery of the last eight years of backwardness, bankrupcy, and trouble

  • Those Neo-Cons have no clue on how to handle the Russkies. Gimme JFK any day over any one of these GOP hypocrites. Now, all you like to do is stir the pot. You're the Rush "Bad Rash" Lintbagh of print, except a little smarter.

  • So another male writing on choices made by women. What was forgotten to be told is that the new laws allowed under pro-life Bush, has made it simply harder for abortions in a lot of states, so yes its gone down. Please, adopt a child, there are plenty out there if you are concerned about life's point of beginning. If you are truly pro life get of your pew and stop the war.

  • The Left's moral high ground; the fascist and the commies versions, are not as Utopian as their good intentions set out to create. Take Obama's Black Nationalist "church", for instance...

  • Trying to run this country on religious tenets has resulted in the "holy" views of Bush distorting the constitution. I'm sick of hearing "what would Jesus do" when it comes to illegal aliens. And, I am sick to death of crooked old men trying to dictate to women. Religion is a man made concept--it isn't mentioned once in the Bible. Look to mankind for "God" and you'll be sadly disappointed.

  • Well, the big simple thing the debate revealed is that McCain is sharp, informed, and a better debater -- which the BO camp admitted by accusing the producers of cheating.
