This comment is directed to artlicle concerning "Stem Cells" mentioned in L.A. Times.
I am angry, disgusted, hopeful, confused, disappointed, and dismayed, as are 110,000,000+ individuals/voters living in the United States of America including myself who has had to suffer with Insulin Dependent Type 2 Diabetes for the last 2008 administration. Conservative politicians and the Roman Catholic Church block Stem Cell Research because of their own self-interest.

You don't need to sell drugs when you can help the military with your jumping and running abilities
No one else catch this? Really? Not even an editor? Or did he change poor kids from black kids? C'mon....

Country first because McCain will carry on the war in Iraq and burn tax payer money.
Country first because McCain is selling his wife beer in Vietnam, Columbia, Israel and entire Europe.
Country first because McCain will abandon all American as he did with his previous wife.
Country first because McCain still collect his Social Security paycheck and senator paycheck.
Country first because McCain wants to kill more American soldiers.
Country first because McCain will destroy the US economy.

He was the only Republican member of the Keating Five savings and loan scandal, which cost taxpayers over $3 Billion.

John McCain, smart? There's some scientific mutual exclusivity at play here.

The debate over the use of embryo-derived stem cells is not less valid because it is a largely moral (rather than scientific) debate. If you recall, there used to be a lot of mainstream "scientific" support for eugenics. This could happen because science is inherently amoral. Morality is the foundation of our civil society. Even our laws about murder enshrine our moral beliefs. Should we repeal our laws against murder because some Spartan wants to go out and kill a Helot?

Obama who is supposed to know the Constitution but does not is not someone whom I would want trying to win a debate about brain power. He knows nothing about Supply and Demand either.
You talked down about intelligent design but evolution has been a disproven theroy since it was voiced. Is it easier to believe a 13 Trillion to 1 shot than some other theroy? As for getting a debate about Science you would first get Scientists that agree on what is true and what is bunk and I know that won't happen.

Science studies observable, reproducible, natural phenomena. Under its rules, no explanation can be admitted unless it is a natural process that has been observed and confirmed multiple times. If a deity created the universe and all life therein, this would lie completely outside the purview of science. Evolution is the best science can do within its limitations. Science does not negate religion. Rather, science has nothing to do with religion. There is conflict because some are trying to use science to damage religion. This is known as being a bad neighbor.

Geeks think, McCain is a loser, lost his plane somewhere, lost his sanity somewhere. Maverick, my ... Hell go maverick on us, hell press the red button when you wake him up for his nap.
