  • All that's nice, but will the youth delegates really help the democrats get into the Oval Office? I mean, from 1968 to 2004 70% of our presidents have been Republicans. Age respect is nice but for these parties the main goal is to win.

  • I am one of the UC Davis Students and our caucus was AN HOUR FROM CAMPUS in Napa. Sneaky college students? None of the student delegates I know had caucuses on college campuses. Please check your facts. -Ryan Loney

  • I almost fell asleep reading "David"'s comment. Joel's column was awsome as always.

  • I say this as a fan and regular reader: Joel's worst column ever. But then, who could make either party's convention entertaining to read about? An impossible task. When I watched the Convention I thought to myself: This is what really good robots will look like soon. First generation (circa 2030) robots were displayed last week at the Olympics. This is the 2040 second generation: less athletic but more articulate.
