3. But seriously ... tiny ideas have gained such currency and crazy momentum precisely because of the last eight years of not just big, but enormous, outsized, momentous ideas put in play by the Bush administration. And by the way they have all just merrily disappeared over the edge of the cliff. Naturally, big ideas simply lost all credibility. So, people are in the mood to start over, and to start over with little ideas, so they can't go so far wrong, if they're wrong. What's wrong with that?

4. I've been trying to figure out just why it is that the University of Phoenix is so enamored of placing its online ads right in the middle of our column. What is that saying about your column? It reminds me of how the vocational schools that teach things like truck driving and computer repair run their TV ads and infomercials in the middle of daytime tv, presumably when those who are not gainfully employed would be watching. hmmm....

5. He's not "breeding hatred." In fact, his opinion of blogging and such is very common among those in the so-called establishment media. They're threatened by the idea that "outsiders" are expressing themselves. I haven't read this writer's work in many months but I checked back and found this column. It appears that my comment will be the third in two days. I know bloggers who get more comments than that within minutes of posting something. This is what the establishment media worry about.

6. Here's my thought-let to add to the mix. What I hate is people who whine "Hater!" every time they read something mildly sardonic or oppositional in the least to their own perspective. Stop whining and grow up. Columnists with whom you disagree are supposed to stimulate your own thoughts, your keyboard fingers, and your heart rate. I read what you would call "haters" all the time without thinking that is what they are. I sometimes find them interesting; at other times their words confirm my original opinion of them. Calling them "haters" is intellectually lazy and infantile.

7. Hatred? Since when is hatred pointing out that we are becoming our own media outlets? This is going to be the real "Generation Me"... amazing.

10. Why do you breed hatred by putting down someone that just wants to be real and share with others. What is wrong with that? If you don't like what Mr. Adams is posting or how many times he posts don't look, its not for you...simple as that. Folks like you breed hatred and do we really need more of that in this world? NO we don't. Here's an idea how about reporting on something more significant. How about poverty and how 80% of the US population makes under $80,000 a year, that's a good one. Yeah something that may actually be for the betterment of society. Is there really a need to be mean to the good souls.
