1. Abortion is murder. Plain and simple.

2. Under the Democrat banner, racist scum, fundamentalist morons, anti-family hypocrites, wealthy law breaking elites, and their corporate mouth pieces, lobbyists and political enablers have driven the nation's sovereignty to the edge and taken away all right to govern our own lives. When are you Americans going to smarten up and throw these bums out for good? If you park your fear of third parties, there is room for both a real conservative and a moderately less intelligent viewpoint to compete for political power. Big Brother has no place in a modern society.

3. Any reasonable priest would encourage personal discernment and an examination of one's conscience rather than simply expecting adherence in a Nazi-like lock-step obedience to Rome's dictates. Such a compassionate spirit would go a long way toward opening creative possibilities for the women who find themselves caught in the dilemma between forced motherhood or the violation of church dogma. Oh I forgot, the Religious Right really isn't about compassion is it?

4. She can say she is a Catholic all she wants. It is not true. Catholicism requires one to embrace Truth. She rejects it, so she rejects the church. The church has a duty it's own mission first of all. If she wants to leave she is welcome, but like so many double tongued pandering politicians she is trying to hold onto a title to which she is no longer entitled. By trying to keep herself wrapped in the clothing of Christ's Holy Church while tresonously fighting truth, she is scandalizing truth. She sold her soul for votes. She cannot serve God and mammon.

5. Under the Republican banner, racist scum, fundamentalist morons, anti-abortion hypocrites, wealthy tax evading polluters, and their corporate mouth pieces, lobbyists and political enablers have driven the economy to the edge and despoiled the public realm. When are you Americans going to smarten up and throw these bums out for good? If you park your fear of the unknown, there is room for a both a real conservative and a moderate viewpoint to compete for political power. Neo-fascism has no place in a modern society.

6. Since when was it Catholic doctrine to deny communion to anyone for their stated sins? Shall we do the same for governors who also support the death penalty, something that is also against the Catholic faith. What about governors who were divorced? What about governors who cut programs that serve the neediest in our communities? Archbishop Naumann, unfortunately, is using the most holy body of Christ to make a poltical gesture, and as a practicing pro-life Catholic, I find that absolutely abhorrent.

8. Tim misses the point. The real issue here is about being a good Catholic, and receiving communion in a Catholic Church, not about being a good Democrat and supporting Obama. Besides, how is it a violation of the separation of church and state when a Catholic bishop enforces church law about receiving communion in a Catholic Church. The bishop's message is simple: a person can't be both pro-choice and Catholic regardless if s/he supports McCain, Obama or Clinton. Tim's response should also be just as simple: respect those differences that he has with the Catholic Church and stop receiving communion.

9. With all due respect to Pro-Lifer's entitled opinion, they consistently miss the main reason of being Pro-Choice...the right to choose one way or another, not have our gov't choose for us!! I for one, would rather live in a country that supports a woman's right to choose...NOT to have an abortion!

10. Rebirth of abortion? 25% of all pregnancies end with abortion. How can you care so little for human life?
