  • This guy's wife is right- he is a nobhead. Not to mention he's also extremely condescending...

  • You actually managed to say absolutely nothing to support your twisted logic.

  • I think Mr. Epstein raises many very interest points. For one, I like the title "romantic partnership" to describe the various relationships that many want to call "marriage". Many seem to define "marriage" as nothing more than a bond between two people who love each other, and that's it. That would explain why so many marriages fail... there is much more to marriage than just loving the other person. I think that anyone who has been married for any length of time would agree that there are days when they DON'T love their spouse, yet that doesn't mean the marriage no longer exists or is no longer worth continuing.

  • I agree with Robert Epstein. If we redefine marriage for the gays, we have to do it for EVERYONE, including polygamists. How utterly ironic it is to hear people arguing so passionately in favor of the right to marry the whoever they want and then turn around and trash their own credibility by denying polygamists that same right.

  • Bobby - I agree with you. A new word needs to be created to accurately describe when two (or three for that matter) persons of the same gender agree to be together for the rest of their lives. This simply involves the creation of a new word. Sharraige Tharriage Garriage Larriage Burriage Then the issue and those behind it will be Buried

  • Another argument is that same-sex marriage can help bring much needed change to the institution of marriage. Gender roles are different. It's 2008, not 8. Thus, the real fear of religion about gay marriage is exposed: It's all about outdated gender roles. RE: post from Paul A. "Whatever happened to "respect, honor and submit to your husband", it certainly hasn't happened in your household yet. Good luck with that."

  • Since when is a immoral choice a civil right movement? Next cause will be to set murderers free. "How dare we say murder is wrong". "They were born with it". This country is going down the tube.

  • Samantha Wrote:"i beleive that marriage is supposed to be with somene you love. If you are in love with a guy or girl it shouldn't matter. What ever makes you happy is what matters, and no one wants to be stuck with someone thier not happy with." I Love my Dog, can I marry him too?

  • FINALY someone with common sense! Thank God!

  • Pedifilia, incest and beastiality are considered "okay" with a minority of people in society, and they pay taxes and work jobs too; should we give them the same civil rights and identity as being "married" too? All of these unions are immoral, un-natural and unethical too!
