Being from Oklahoma, I have following Inhofe's ridiculous statements, which could possibly be a full-time job. The "hoax" one had to be one of his worst. Immediately after reading that statement in the Daily Oklahoman, I contacted Inhofe's office and asked some questions. I had an email returned with a link to Inhofe's Global Warming reference website. This website was where Inhofe got his "expert advise" about global warming. It was a web page out of New Zealand of all places, and was one page. No links. It was ridiculous, as ridiculous as Inhofe, who is running for another term this November.

Everyone knows the climate is changing--that's not the issue. Kennedy makes the illogical leap that because the climate is changing (which it always has--the only permanent thing in earth's history is change), the change must be due to humans burning oil. The appropriate response right now is figuring out how to adapt to climate change, which is the real issue. And it's pretty difficult to develop new technology and adapt when unproductive lawyers--err, clowns-- like Kennedy seek to undermine our economic base and accuse those who are actually contributing to solutions--such as Sarah Palin--of being the problem instead.

Luckily for you, opinion is subjective. Evolution is a theory that cannot be tested and repeated. Gravity is tested repeated and broken. Consider yourself impeached on your credibility. Even if you could test evolution and repeat it, there is still the fact that it can be broken, like gravity. Gravity does not exist universally either. If you can say that you can prove evolution does exist, and that it is like saying it is because gravity exists, then evolution may also not be universal. With that being said, what is global warming? Seriously? Can it be tested and repeated? If this is the argument then your reasoning is sadly flawed.

"30,000 scientists signed a document saying global warming is not man made." Where can I find information about that study or petition? I doubt it exists, but please do enlighten us with facts.

There is so much that is wrong with Palin that I have decided to not even dignify her with my attention. The entire Republican party has become debauched and sold to the highest bidder. "You sirs and madams are no Teddy Roosevelts". As a Democrat, I am astonished at their greed. If I were a Republican, I would be absolutely ashamed of what has become of this party.

Oil is a huge part of the Alaska economy. Every Sourdough gets a an annual check as their piece of the action, so what governor in their right mind WOULDN'T be sitting in the oil companies' lap? You have three US Senators and an Alaska governor in this election so everyone is going to be in someone's pocket.

Bill 9:47 AM PDT, September 24, 2008, You say there are facts that indicate both parties are responsible for the wall street melt-down. I'd probably agree there is a lot of blame to be throw around, but Bush is responsible for, over the last 8 years, of creating an enviroment where de-regulation was encouraged and he was supported by a repuplican majority for most of that time. Where are your facts?

Yes, Mr. Kennedy. So well conveyed. As a child growing up in Montana in the 50s and 60s I remember with great love the beauty that was Glacier National Park where the closest place to heaven was to sit on the continental divide after having driven up "Going to the Sun Highway". Our grandchildrenl think we are joking while the glaciers are melting faster than our minds can comprehend. Thank you so much for bringing us to terms with our reality. We must stop the danger lurking behind Sarah Palin (and ultimately, John McCain).
