It doesnt matter that he is gay, it matters how he is using it. If he flaunting around his partner and giving gay people more rights, then i would not support that.

A gay president? Been there, done that. Read your gay history.
Justin Tyme @ 6:41 AM PDT, Aug 28, 2008
Don't we already have a gay president? (no offense to homosexuals intended).
Steve Wimer @ 4:42 AM PDT, Aug 28, 2008
BB I find your comment assuming.
If Gays are simply accepting who they are, then explain to me your stance on transgendered people.
Are transgendered people accepting who they are?
Last time I checked they were looking to reject the gender nature brought them into this world as.

This hypothetical question is silly and a waste of time.
The present democratic system is only as good as it's participants, which is to say it is not very good at all.
The office of Presidency can be filled by virtually anyone with some proven ability to function in society. The President is just ONE of thousands of decision makers.
The President is a figure head, ultimately the President has ZERO impact on U.S. domestic policy, foreign policy is a whole different story.
I would not vote for a Gay Anything. The gay lifestyle no matter how "mainstream" it becomes will always be characterized by risky behavior.

Please don't take this as a knee-jerk anti-McCain snark. I seriously would like to know how Christians can vote for McCain, given that he's confessed to adultery and he's currently dvorced and remarried. Is breaking the New Testament's sexual rules only a deal-breaker if it's guy-on-guy adultery? Or is it okay as long as you only commit adultery with girls?
I'm honestly not trying to be sarcastic. I'd like to know if many Evangelicals are going to vote for monogamous Obama over serial-polygamist McCain solely because of their sexual behavior.

"Juanita" deludes herself when she says "I'm not hating." Of *course* she is. And surely the "not Adam and Steve" line is now such a hacneyed cliche that it deserves to be put to rest.
But I wonder ... does she "pray" for Dick CHeney's daughter?
David @ 7:27 PM PDT, Aug 27, 2008
And how well did 'prayer' work out for Bush in solving the nation's problems? By the way praying to force a change upon someone is hating - deal with it.
Dave @ 7:24 PM PDT, Aug 27, 2008
It's a shame that the topic of a gay-whatever is even an issue. Gay men and women do not choose to be gay, they choose to accept who they are, and that's very noble and courageous. A gay person could make an excellent president; a gay person could make a horrible president. It has nothing to do with his or her being gay.
What a shame it is that so many people are so absurdly limited by their narrow-minded views of the world! Don't pray for gays; just give them the equal rights that they deserve.
BB @ 7:07 PM PDT, Aug 27, 2008
Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. No, I will not vote for a gay President nor gay anything. I think it's totally disgusting to see a so call man kissing a so call man and a so call woman kissing a so call woman much less having sex together. They are all sick and need prayer and therapy. What's really sad is when little children see this kind of stuff then they grow up to think that it's ok, well, it's not. I'm not hating, I just pray for all of them.
