Murder moratorium
1.
This is why we need the Army in Los Angeles; Special Order 40 is irrelevant to them.
2. This liberal rag aka LA Times is also culpable in Jamiel Shaw's murder. They constantly cover the backside of politicians who give us special order 40. What a load of bunk yesterday's editorial was. Why did we not hear aboutJamiel's murderer being an illegal until weeks later? Why do I have to find out the truth through national news outlets.
3. We hold the Mayor of Los Angeles personally responsible for all crimes committed by Illegal Aliens. In addition we hold the Mayor of Los Angeles in contempt for failing to repudiate and rescind his "Special Order 40" policy of protecting Illegal Aliens from Federal Law.
4. We should have troops stake out every troubled hood in the country. It's dumb that were at war with terror, and fighting it overseas, when some people live with terror in there hood. We need to fight the fight here at home before we can fight it overseas.
5. The only effective medicine is martial law.
6. And "the appearance of doing something about the problem while actually doing nothing" is the political zeitgeist of the times. We are not doomed, but we will remain cursed with this gang violence as long as people in authority place baseless hope in such placebo acts as moratoriums and refuse to treat the civic patient with effective medicine. Unfortunately, those in authority feel threatened by doing the right thing.
7. We've needed troops on our streets since 1995. It is too bad no other person in the whole Universe ever came up with this idea.
8. Thank you for your eloquent and thoughtful statement regarding the alleged forty hour "no-kill" attempt. I understand why it was done, why a statement had to be made to appear that someone was doing something. My larger concern is that we are raising (and losing) a youth culture that has no second thoughts about "wasting" anyone for any reason. We are headed for a crisis of epic proportions as more and more citizens of our cities fall victim to this mindless wave or murder and mayhem. We have our own war right here in our own city. Perhaps we would be better served to bring the troops home and have them on our own streets?
9. Do any of you remember the murder of Stephanie Kuhen back in 1995? What should have been done then was a declaration of martial law in the city of Los Angeles, followed by the deployment of Army troops to take control of the city and deal with the threat once and for all. If it is okay to use American troops to pacify Baghdad and Port au Prince, then it is okay to use American troops to pacify Los Angeles.
