ACORN, you are tainted forever, Maybe the probe against you will stop since the President Elect will be for you, so any investigation will probably go away

The fraud charge against ACORN was never meant to be taken seriously by educated people. It was just a distraction for the McCain campaign to focus on instead of on real issues.

According to an Oct. 23rd New York Times Article that 1.3 is vastly overstated and acutually closer to 450,000. Explain that.

Reading all the comments pro and con ACORN, I wonder what country the citizens of the U.S.A. live in.
Thank goodness I live in a sane country, Canada, where every citizen is registered to vote. If for one reason or another he/she does not get the registration form, he/she can contact the necessary authority and it is corrected.
All the best is my wish.

Well done, ACORN.
Keep it going for all elections until everybody in the whole darn country votes, as they should.

Martha,
Thank you and all of the other volunteers at ACORN for all of your patriotic work. It is truly inspiring and welcomed. I agree that every US citizen who has the right to vote should be allowed to do so - - and the wonderful efforts of all the ACORN folks are trying to help make this happen in an orderly and vigilant fashion. What should also be emphasized is that the "new" voter is totally free to register for any party or no party at all -- it is completely up to them.
Keep up the good work!!!

When I voted today;I witnessed your tactics. The practice of registering and taking them to vote for Obama is dictatorial.I voted for Senator Obama for President. If ACORN really cared about the my fellow residents; they would teach them about the candidates and their platforms and work with the Election Boards to teach them how to use touch tone computer screens. It is better to teach someone how to cast their own personal vote. They will become independent voters. You are taking away their right to vote for their chosen candidate. I don't believe in taking the right to vote independently from anyone.

Do you have any comment about the coercing of homeless people with food and money?
Do you have anything to say about the indoctrinating of these people to vote a certain way?
Are these people actually bright enough to understand the issues or are they just being told that their life sucks because of Republicans?
Registering voters is a noble initiative. I happen to think we all should be registered, have a picture ID and be able to pass a very simple competency test in order to vote on who leads our country.
If enough brainless idiots register....perhaps Mickey Mouse WOULD get elected.

The real tragedy in all this is our tax dollars are subsidizing this group that openly commits voter registration fraud while laughing in our faces.
