1. World Help provides much need assistance in many countries around the world, including Burma, in areas such as humanitarian aid and child sponsorship. Since the cyclone, World Help has been sending financial resources to their partners in Burma to assist with relief efforts, and is trying to send physical resources to the extent permitted by the Burmese government. 3. IDE Myanmar http://www.ideorg.org/work/myanmar.php has been providing technical help to Burmese farmers for many years. They have over 300 staff on the ground in Myanmar and most importantly, they have permission from the government to travel and work with villagers throughout the country. They have vital access to affected areas and coordinate their work with larger organizations such as UNICEF, CARE and Save the Children. You can make donations through their website at https://secure.groundspring.org/dn/index.php?aid=3264.
